We are looking into the possibility of offering our Business English classes online for companies in Spain, or anywhere in the world. Both Paul and I have worked as in company English teachers for other companies, but would like to try to get our own contracts to work directly with businesses.
From our recent experience, after getting a job in an international company many employees want to improve their confidence speaking in English in the following situations:
– First contact with a new team and handover meetings
– Conference calls with international colleagues where you need to answer questions about your project and also fully understand the instructions or information you are being given (many students tell us they are too embarrassed to speak, only saying the minimum)
– General English for the informal side of business trips and conventions (talking about your family, asking appropriate questions to your counterparts)
– Welcoming visitors to your workplace (one student recently told us they always try to be out when visitors arrive because they feel too shy to communicate in English)
– Practice using specific work-related technical vocabulary that you know how to read and write perfectly but feel nervous about using in conversations (pronunciation, sentence formation)

Primer contacto con el mundo de clases

Estamos planteando la posibilidad de ofrecer nuestras clases de Business English online para empresas en España o en cualquier parte del mundo. Tanto Paul como yo hemos trabajado como profesores de inglés en empresas para otras empresas, pero nos gustaría intentar conseguir nuestros propios contratos para trabajar directamente con las empresas.
Según nuestra experiencia reciente, después de conseguir un trabajo en una empresa internacional, muchos empleados quieren mejorar su confianza hablando en inglés en las siguientes situaciones:
- Primer contacto con un nuevo equipo y reuniones de traspaso
- Conferencias telefónicas con compañeros internacionales en las que debe responder preguntas sobre su proyecto y también comprender completamente las instrucciones o la información que se le brinda (muchos estudiantes nos dicen que les da vergüenza hablar y solo dicen lo mínimo)
- Inglés general para el lado informal de los viajes de negocios y congresos (hablar de su familia, hacer preguntas apropiadas a sus contrapartes)
- Dar la bienvenida a los visitantes a su lugar de trabajo (un estudiante nos dijo recientemente que siempre intentan estar fuera cuando llegan los visitantes porque se sienten demasiado tímidos para comunicarse en inglés)
- Practique el uso de vocabulario técnico específico relacionado con el trabajo que sabe leer y escribir perfectamente, pero se siente nervioso al usarlo en conversaciones (pronunciación, formación de oraciones)
