Reviews from Summer 2025

It has been a fully immersive experience, not only living with Vic, Paul and Mia, but also getting to know their family and friends. We have shared customs and cultural interests, they have opened the doors of their homes to us, and we have been able to practise English in a natural way…

without the pressure of classes, with everyone making a real effort to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I think it’s a highly effective way to improve your English speaking and listening skills.” – Lola, physiotherapist

A week in Yorkshire — an incredible experience. My children came back very happy, they met new people and their English became much more fluent. Everything was extremely well organised by Victoria, with lots of activities. They will definitely come again. ”

Sonia, mother of Pablo y Adriana (17 and 18)

“This week I’ve experienced a language immersion that I will remember with great affection. It has been a very special experience, not only because of how much I have learned and improved my English, but also because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere we shared.

It has been a pleasure to stay with Vic, Paul and little Mia, who created a close, friendly and very special family environment. I also really enjoyed sharing this week with my classmates Lola, Adriana and Pablo, with whom I learned and shared some beautiful moments.

The surroundings were charming and very relaxing, perfect for switching off. We also enjoyed a variety of dynamic activities, delicious food, and an atmosphere that truly makes you feel at home.

I recommend this experience 100%. Thank you for such a wonderful week — I’m leaving with a full heart.! 😍”- Maria, high school teacher

“An easy way to start speaking English in a natural environment where you don’t feel any pressure. Both Paul and Vic encourage conversation topics and make sure everyone in the group has the opportunity to speak, correcting when necessary so that the learning benefits everyone.

It is clear that they love what they do, and they make sure everyone feels comfortable and included.

Thank you for a wonderful week experiencing a 100% immersive stay in England.” – Patricia, European Project Manager

“My daughter took part in the immersion course with Victoria and Paul in Yorkshire this summer, and the experience could not have been more positive. We chose them because we already knew them and had complete trust in them.

The course was extremely dynamic and fun, and I would recommend it 100%.” – Rosa, mother of Maria, 21

“It was truly a great decision to spend a week on an English immersion course and see how well everything is organised. Every day includes a different activity, making it both fun and highly immersive.

Forget about going to activities in a group just to listen — you become part of the adventure.

We were very lucky as well, as we were joined by some really lovely people and quickly felt like a family. It was a real pleasure to enjoy that week and to have chosen to take part in their activities. Highly recommended..” – Victor, IT consultant

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need an advanced level of English?
You don’t need to be bilingual, but it is important to have at least an intermediate level (B1) so you can follow conversations, take part in activities, and make the most of the experience.

Before enrolling, we offer a free phone or video call to assess your level and talk about your goals for the course.

Will there be formal grammar classes?

Not like in a traditional language school. We will have practical sessions with roleplays, workshops and group activities, but the approach is experiential and communicative. You will learn by speaking, listening and sharing.

Will I be speaking English all the time?

Yes! The whole course is designed so you experience full immersion in the language. Communication inside the house, during activities, meals, and outings will be entirely in English.

We know this can feel a little daunting at first, but that’s exactly what makes the difference.

Many of our previous students have told us that in just one week of real immersion (and even over a weekend), they learned more than in an entire year of traditional classes.

Being surrounded by English in everyday situations, with constant support and a relaxed environment, you will quickly gain fluency, vocabulary and confidence almost without noticing.

Will I be alone if I join without knowing anyone?

Not at all! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and from day one you will become part of a small group, where everyone shares the same goal: improving their English and having a great time. You will also meet both other students and local people.

Do I need to arrange my own flights and transfers?

The course starts on Saturday 11th July (week 1) and Monday 20th July (week 2).

When you make your booking, we will give you recommendations for flights to Manchester Airport (UK). At the moment, flights for these dates are quite reasonably priced, and we recommend booking as soon as you are sure you will attend the course.

For those visiting England for the first time, we can pick you up at Manchester Airport on the start date of the course. At the end of the programme, we will also help you organise your return transfer to Manchester Airport.
